About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing Activities Coordinator who will be the central point of coordination for all marketing activities at MadMaze Studios. This is not a content creation role — it is a planning, orchestration, and quality-control role. You will work closely with multiple internal teams (content, design, video, tech, events operations, and sales) to ensure that our own brand — and most importantly MadMaze Events — is consistently and powerfully represented across every marketing touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Strategy

  • Plan and maintain the monthly social media calendar in coordination with the content team.
  • Discuss and align all ongoing and upcoming marketing activities with the Director – Marketing.
  • Take full ownership of all marketing efforts for MadMaze Events, ensuring consistent brand visibility and engagement.

Content & Creative Coordination

  • Liaise with the content team for social media copy, blogs, and email marketing content.
  • Liaise with the graphic design team for creatives required for social media, campaigns, and other marketing collaterals.
  • Liaise with the video editing team to ensure videos for social media are produced on schedule.
  • Coordinate with the Events Operations team and Sales team to collect raw event content (photos, videos, highlights) for marketing use.
  • Execution & Publishing.
  • Work with the tech team to ensure timely and accurate social media posting.
  • Liaise with content and tech teams to execute email marketing campaigns — content from content team, deployment by tech team.
  • Ensure all posts go live on time, as per the planned calendar.

Website & SEO

  • Ensure the company website is always up to date with the latest information, case studies, and collateral.
  • Review website content and blogs regularly for SEO quality and relevance; share clear feedback with respective teams for corrections.
  • Track and ensure timely action on all review feedback.

Reporting & Governance

  • Provide regular updates to the Director – Marketing on the status of all marketing activities.
  • Identify delays, bottlenecks, or gaps in output across teams and drive timely resolution.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong planning and organizational skills — ability to manage multiple calendars, deadlines, and teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent coordination and follow-up discipline — no task should fall through the cracks.
  • Good understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and basic SEO principles.
  • Sharp eye for quality — able to review creatives, copy, and website content and give constructive feedback.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Tamil — will be interacting with creative, technical, operational, and leadership teams.
  • Comfort with project management tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and basic marketing dashboards.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset — someone who chases outcomes, not just tasks.

Good to Have

  • Prior experience in a marketing agency, events company, or in-house brand marketing team.
  • Exposure to tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Mailchimp, WordPress, or similar.
  • Basic familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO tools, or email marketing platforms.
