How MadMaze produced Mitsuba India's 25th anniversary corporate video across four plants in four cities, shot by one crew, so four factories cut together as a single Mitsuba India. It launched on one immovable date, alongside a new mascot animation and a rebuilt website.

25th Anniversary Corporate Video
2026
Multi-City Corporate Video Production
One crew. Four cities. One camera. One corporate film library.

In 2001, Mitsuba India began with a single plant in Chennai. Twenty-five years on, it runs four plants across four states, supplying precision electrical systems to the automotive and motorcycle manufacturers it partners. To mark its 25th anniversary, Mitsuba set MadMaze a clear brief: produce a complete corporate video from the ground up, ready to launch at the 25th anniversary celebration in Chennai.
The video had a specific job. It had to put Mitsuba's manufacturing capability and scale in front of the OEM customers and global partners the company supplies, and give colleagues across four cities a single shared story, so that four plants of very different scale would read as one Mitsuba India.
As an experiential event management company, MadMaze owned the full media production, from the original storyline it developed through to the final grade. One consolidated corporate profile film. Four plant-wise films, one for each location. Six function-wise films covering the manufacturing lines, product photography across the range. Mitsuba reviewed and enriched that storyline with live production numbers and specific milestone projects, and every frame was graded to Mitsuba's global branding guidelines.
The real task was to make four facilities of very different scale, spread across North, West and South India, feel like one company on screen, all with a single crew and no second visit.
One crew. One camera. One eye across four cities. The consistency was engineered, not assumed.
A calendar set by the plants, not by us
The full plant group photograph could only be taken on a Monday morning, and specific manufacturing processes only ran on specific days of the week. The entire four-city schedule had to be reverse-engineered around each plant's operating rhythm rather than around travel.
Four facilities of very different scale
A live manufacturing floor that could not stop
Production ran throughout, and plant safety protocols applied at every site. The crew worked around the shifts, not the other way around.
One crew, and no return trip
The Brief, In One Line
“Build Mitsuba India’s entire 25-year corporate video from nothing, and launch it on Mitsuba’s 25th anniversary.”
A schedule built backwards from the factory floor
The four-city calendar was reverse-engineered from plant operating schedules, so Monday morning group photographs and process-specific production days were captured at every location.
One camera brand and model, moved across all four cities
Rather than sourcing cameras available locally, the same camera travelled to every plant. Combined with framing discipline and colour correction in post, four facilities were cut together into a single film.
A recce that scaled down as the crew learned
Chennai, the largest plant and the first shot, had a full-day recce across every production line. Gurgaon's recce happened on landing, going straight to the facility before the hotel. Pune and Ahmedabad needed only a half-day recce before a single shoot day.
Coverage discipline over selective shooting
Over 40 manufacturing lines and 20+ products were captured during the shoot, well beyond what the approved storyline called for at the time. That decision would matter later.
Post-production to Mitsuba's global guidelines
Colour correction and grading brought eleven films into one visual language that met Mitsuba's global branding standards.
One line of coordination, four to five months
Across a four- to five-month engagement, a single point of contact at Mitsuba headed the project and coordinated every internal function, with senior leadership behind them for approvals. MadMaze ran single-point project management across all four cities. Every approval and change moved through one channel, keeping decisions fast despite four plants and multiple internal functions involved.
Shoot Oct to Nov 2025 · post-production from Jan 2026 · launch April 2026
What the finished film does not show is the rotation behind it. A core crew flew across Chennai, then Gurgaon, then Pune, then Ahmedabad, with camera and lighting moving city to city ahead of each leg. Inter-city flights and crew availability shifted late in the production window, and we absorbed them without moving a single plant's schedule.
When the on-site light didn't match what the recce had promised, we dispatched additional lighting from Chennai at short notice, and the shoot continued on schedule. At Gurgaon, the crew landed and went straight to the manufacturing floor to finish the recce before checking in.
Then, one more day in Chennai. With all four plants wrapped, the crew went back for a final day to get the last products and details in camera, rather than fix them later in post-production. That discipline paid off months on: when Mitsuba asked to feature specific milestones and products, the footage was already there. What could have meant four more flights became a single afternoon in the edit.

The corporate profile film launched at the Mitsuba India 25th anniversary celebration in Chennai, in front of Mitsuba top management, their Japanese counterparts, and the senior Indian leadership team. It played without a single technical issue.
It was not the only thing going live that day. The corporate film shared its launch date with a 3D mascot animation and a completely rebuilt website, delivered by three teams working to one date that could not move, and delivered on time even as scope was added late in the cycle. Everything landed. Following the launch, the MadMaze team was congratulated by the entire Mitsuba team, and the relationship continues, with ongoing work on branding and further production.

Delivered on an immovable date
From the storyline to the final grade, this project shows why brands choose MadMaze as an end-to-end event management company that can hold one standard across four plants and four cities. MadMaze is an event management company in Chennai that plans, produces, and runs everything from live events to multi-city video production.
Because the most complex productions are the ones that look effortless on screen.
