About the Role:
As a Business Development Executive, you'll be at the front line of growth — generating leads, opening doors, and building the early relationships that turn into long-term business. You'll work closely with the Sales & Client Servicing Manager to convert opportunities into confirmed projects, while learning the ropes of client management and strategic selling. If you're driven by targets and enjoy the thrill of the chase, this role will sharpen your sales instincts fast.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through research, networking, referrals, and cold outreach across corporate, automotive, manufacturing, MICE, and other sectors.
- Make regular calls to prospective and existing clients to pitch offerings, build relationships, and drive repeat business.
- Schedule and support client meetings, pitches, and proposal discussions, customizing solutions based on client needs.
- Coordinate with Production and Creative teams on feasibility, budgets, and timelines, and brief internal teams based on client requirements.
- Track project timelines, approvals, and deliverables, ensuring transparent client communication throughout.
- Own monthly and quarterly lead generation and revenue targets, maintaining a strong pipeline with regular reporting.
Required Skills & Traits
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable and confident making high volumes of outbound calls.
- A proactive, relationship-first approach with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of event production, budgets, and client servicing.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience creating presentations and pitch decks.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT and other AI tools to boost productivity.
